Suðureyri (66° 7’50.85″N 23°31’39.08″W) is a small village in the Westfjords, north west Iceland.It is situated on the south side of the fjord Súgandafjörður. Suðureyri is part of the municipality Ísafjarðarbær, which consists of the villages and towns of Ísafjörður, Flatyeri and Þingeyri, and Suðureyri. The population is 280 and the distance to Reykjavík is 454 km ( 282 miles ).
