It is located in a narrow valley below the infamous Eyjafjallajökull, surrounded by beautiful natural settings, cliffs and volcanic scenery in a narrow valley on the South Coast. From ringroad number 1, it is about a 10 minute drive to the carpark and then a 15-20 minute walk to Seljavallalaug .
