Seljalandsfoss is located in Seljalandsá in South Iceland and is one of the most iconic and most-visited waterfalls in the country. It has a drop of 60 metres (200 feet). The river is fed by glacial melt water from the famous Eyjafjallajökull. It is possible to walk behind Seljalandsfoss into a small cave, but prepare to get a little wet . It is right off ring road no 1 on  the road 249 leading to Þórsmörk. Seljalandsfoss is one of the most famous Icelandic landmarks. From the parking lot it is just a short walk all the way up to the waterfall.
