Reykjafjarðarlaug Pool

A swimming pool located in Reykjafjörður, a small fjord within the larger Arnafjörður in the Western Fjords. The water source is a hot spring near to the pool. There is also a natural hot spring close to the swimming pool with a water temperature of about 40 degrees C, which can be used for bathing but has only room for a few people.  Reykjafjarðarlaug is located about 10 minutes drive from the village Bíldudalu and  there are changing facilities but no shower. The swimming pool next to the hot spring, was used to teach swimming for children from Bíldudalur.

Hraunfossar og Barnafoss

Located in Borgarfjörður, West Iceland, Hraunfossar is a series of small waterfalls formed by water flowing from the Hallmundarhraun lava field into the river Hvítá.



Bjarnarfoss is located on the south side of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in the river Bjarná. It falls 80 metres in two tiers from basalt cliffs.
