Reykjadalur is the name of a geothermal area close to the town of Hveragerði in South Iceland. It is about a one hour hike along the river from the car park into Reykjadalur. Reykjadalur is best known for its warm hot spring river. The temperature of the river is ideal for bathing and it has become a popular destination for travelers. Some changing facilities and shelter has been built in recent years. Along the hiking trail are hot springs and colourful areas of geothermal activity. From Hveragerði there is a gravel road leading to a car park where the hiking trail starts.
