Sólseturshátíðin This festival also known as the sunset festival, takes place during the Summer Solstice. There are good facilities for camping and caravan parking. If weather permits, watching the sunset on the longest day of the year is quite a sight. The program over the weekend includes guided tours at the seashore, museums, bonfire and a volleyball competition to name a few.
