Dettifoss is in the Vatnajökul national park, North East of Iceland. Located in Jökulsá á Fjöllum river, which flows from the Vatnajökull glacier, the biggest glacier in Europe. It is 100 meters wide and drops 45 meters down to the Jökulsárgljúfur canyon. It has a water flow of 500 m3/s, in the summer time, one of the greatest volume of any waterfall in Europe. Dettifoss often makes the list of ´ The World’s 10 best waterfalls.´
